And now to the Top 10 Pilates classes our members have moved with over the past twelve months, counting down to the most played…

Class number 156 is my holiday favourites with plenty of members enjoying a 20-minute flow of movement that encourages positive and strong energy.

Focus: Flow, Strength, Mobility

I often get asked what Pilates movements people should do every day, and this class has proved popular at number nine. One size doesn’t fit all, but this 25-minute ‘everyday movement prescription’ class will help you improve your strength, mobility, coordination and feelings of well-being.

Focus: Strength, Mobility, Flexibility, Coordination

As we age our bone density decreases, and for perimenopausal women estrogen levels reduce drastically, which also leads to a loss in bone density. We need to load our bones to keep them healthy and strong to prevent falls and fractures. This popular 13-minute standing class uses a set of 1kg hand weights to load the arms, shoulders, back, and legs.

Prop: 1kg handweights

Focus: Bone health, Osteoporosis, Osteopenia, Women’s Health, Strength

Ever had one of those days where your back feels really tight? This short 7-minute Pilates class is for those days, and plenty of members have been squeezing this session into their routines. In standing, we open the spine with some feel-good movements so you’re left feeling taller and less compressed.

Focus: Spine, Release, Flexibility, Mobility

Hormone fluctuations, medication, food intolerances, and good old-fashioned over-indulgence can leave us feeling really bloated. All the exercises in this 15-minute Pilates class are designed to help relieve bloating and improve digestion.

Focus: Bloating, Digestion, Mobility

This super quick Pilates session focuses on building arm and shoulder strength in just 6 minutes. Fit this one into your routine while the kettle boils!

Focus: Strength, Upper Body, Arms

A 12-minute energising flow designed to start or finish your day. This short class can be done alone or at the end of one of our other classes.

Focus: Restorative whole body energy, breath

It’s no surprise this full 40-minute Classic Pilates class comes in at number three most played. It combines the classic Pilates movements I love to get the whole body moving! You’ll feel taller, and more flexible by the end.

Focus: Flexibility, Mobility

The only Pilates prop class to make it to the top 10, but it’s certainly popular at number 2! This 30-minute Pilates class using the resistance band opens the spine and guides you through some dynamic movements to make you feel more open and free in your body.

Prop: 1.5-2 metre medium resistance band

Focus: Flexibility, Strength, Mobility

#1 / Abdominal Workout

And at number 1, our Pilates at Home members enjoy nothing more than a good, solid 15-minute abdominal workout!

Focus: Core, Abdominals, Strength
