UNWIND
An autumn morning for your spine, breath & body
Sunday 11th October | 9am–12pm | £49
This October, I’m opening the studio for a different kind of Sunday morning.
Over three hours, we’ll have the time we don’t usually have in a regular class to explore the relationship between tension, breath and movement — and discover what changes when we give the body a little more support, space and choice.
We’ll begin slowly, noticing our own patterns of holding and effort. Using small balls, supportive props, breath and movement, we’ll explore the body from the ground up, with particular attention to the spine and ribcage and how movement in one area can influence another.
Then we’ll pause for tea, something delicious and a proper Sunday morning breather. When we return to the mat, we’ll bring everything together in a fuller, flowing Pilates practice. And ask ourselves...
Does a familiar movement feel different now? Can your spine move a little more freely? Is there somewhere you can use less effort? Can you find strength without quite so much gripping or bracing?
UNWIND isn’t about stretching harder or forcing your body to relax.
It’s three hours to get curious about your own body, explore different ways to create ease and movement, and understand a little more about what you might need when things begin to feel tight or restricted.
You’ll leave with simple practices to return to at home too — so you can take a little of the morning with you into the autumn ahead.
Come and spend the morning with me.
